Um, I missed July. Blame deadlines, the annual RWA conference, weddings, and various other events. At least, that's what I'm going to do.
The biggest thing of note this month is that I received my 7th degree black belt. Watch outnext year I'll be a master. I knowit's a totally scary thought.

My odontoglossom (a fancy orchid) died in a freak heat wave we had, I'm still golfing, and the release date for my next book has been moved up to February 2009.

Did you notice I didn't post any news items in May? It wasn't necessarily because I didn't have news to report (although I, in fact, didn't) but because I was so slammed with work that I didn't have time.

I've taken up golf. Also, Nate bought me an odontoglossum (a fancy orchid) two weeks ago and I haven't killed it yet. Good news, indeed.
