California State Fair

I'm signing books at the State Fair in Sacramento, from 10am - 10pm. That's right. Call me Krazy Kate. Apparently, the authors' booth is across from the cinnamon roll vendor, so I recommend you come earlier in the day, before my sugar crash.

The Latest

December

I'm eating my way through Buenos Aires.  The steak, pizza, and medialunas (and alfajores, and fresh bread, and papas fritas, and...) are feeding my writing.  Good stuff is in the works, so stay tuned.

I hightailed it to Buenos Aires for the winter.  Why?  Because it seemed like a good idea.  Who wouldn't want to be in warm weather, eat meat and pizza nonstop, and flirt with intriguing Latin men?

Nothing crazy exciting to announce... Except that I'm being promoted from a seventh degree black belt to a kung fu master this month. I'm totally going to be calling everyone grasshopper from now on.

Book deal!

That's right-we've accepted another book deal from Hachette/Grand Central. For the third Guardian book, tentatively titled TEMPTED BY FATE. I'll post a teaser chapter soon.

I got a new pillow. Big news, considering I'd had my old pillow for over thirty years. I loved that sucker.

Brenda Novak's auction to benefit diabetes research is coming up. One of the items: a one month mentorship with Veronica Wolff and me. Details are on the site, but feel free to contact me if you have questions. Plus I believe they're auctioning some signed copies of my books.
